Our Mission & Philosophy
At The Learning Garden, we believe that every child has the potential to grow and flourish in a nurturing and empowering environment. Our mission is to foster a natural love for learning and provide a safe space where young minds can thrive and develop to their full potential. We are committed to providing the highest quality education and care for your child. Our curriculum is designed to promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development, and we use a variety of hands-on activities to engage children in the learning process.
Our Approach
We believe that every child is unique and special, and we strive to create an individualized learning experience that caters to each child's needs. Our approach is centered around fostering creativity, curiosity, and critical thinking skills. We believe in providing hands-on learning opportunities that allow children to explore and discover the world around them. Learners are provided with ample outdoor time to learn, play and explore, while limiting the time they spend seated in the class at any give time to 12-25 mins! We Follow the Ontario Curriculum as a baseline, while also including life skills, social skills, survival skills, Islamic studies, Arabic Language, French Language. and more into our learning. With our limited class sizes, we ensure a more personal relationship between the team and the children, by the end of the year, the teacher knows very well how each child learns best.

We strive to create a community where every child is treated with love and respect, and where they feel safe and supported to take risks and try new things. We wish to foster a learning environment that allows the children's curiosity to lead learning in such a way that is engaging and rewarding. ​
We work together with the parents and guardians as a team, hand in hand, with the goal of nurturing and encouraging the natural growth and development of their children. Working together is essential to our learners' success and ensures a cohesive environment that transitions smoothly from home life to the class room and eventually into the real world.
